Symphony Orchestra as a Team Work

Symphony orchestra is a music band which consist approximately eighty musicians and a conductor. They all play different instruments such as violin, flute, viola etc. and orchestra must have a director which is called the conductor. First of all, the coherence which is about scene arrangement and their clothes is directly greeted the eye before the symphony start. Apart from that, during the symphony show, there is a perfect harmony. They must rehearse many times to catch this perfection. Since, if there is no harmony, they cannot be an orchestra. Thus, what they do becomes team work. Every team has a leader so their leader is the conductor. However, He directs them by using his hands and mimics. He is always on the move as he is playing all instruments with his body. Besides, musicians who play the same instrument have a group conductor. Hence, there exist several groups in an orchestra. It is obviously seen that it is very hard to play an instrument together so conductors undertake the most essential role in the orchestra. For instance, if they miss a syllable, it can cause confusion. Moreover, it can be said that they are not doing only music, but also they are learning cooperating. That is, playing an instrument very well does not mean playing together another musician easily. In addition, symphony requires many practices so musicians time themselves according to others, although this is their job and timing is another necessity of teamwork. For example, in lecture IE102, all students separated several groups. However, they do not congregate easily despite of being four or six people. At least one of them has a job many times. Thus, symphonies can taken an example in terms of timing by the people who make team work. Although orchestras’ practices are not told, it is not hard to imagine, since what they show is excellent and there is no disparity from music to their clothes. In other words, they all wear same color clothes and their positions are arranged according to their instruments. All in all, symphonies can be considered teams whose job is music. In other words, they have compositions which they have to play instead of tasks which they have to submit.

An Automobile Factory In Modern Times
Movies can have some common issues or they can be really different each other. Modern times and a big automobile factory are two movies which can be compared according to their similarities and differences. Modern times is one of the Charles Chaplin’s movie which shooted in 1936 and it is a romantic comedy film. On the other hand, big automobile factory is a some kind of documentary for children which tell about how a Mercedes Benz is produced from design stage to first driving stage.
First of all, in modern times, Charlie Chaplin has worked a factory. Human power is so important in the factory to provide continuity of production because if one stopped just a minute, all machines can be effected this defect. Charlie’s job, in there, is to compress screws very quickly. He had to be very fast so being very fast and screwing made him crazy after a while according to his employers and they send him a nut house. However, in the big automobile factory, machines are more important than human power because developed machines and robots which are high technological are used to produce cars. Every stages are controlled by workers, engineers and machines number of times. There can not be any mistake after the production. Moreover, in modern times, runtime is important. For instance, there is no work during lunch time. In a scene a worker was caught gears but Charlie could not save him because of the break. In contrast, in the other movie, production is showed like there is no break and all process is of course more complicated. The aim is always to produce better in the Mercedes factory. In other words, Mercedes is working to make better and better all the time. Therefore, new models are designed and cars which can endure hard conditions are produced. Mechanical engineering is looking so attractive because all automobiles and their production stages are excellent. Finally, in modern times Charlie had many difficulties. For example, he was sent nut house, he went to prison accidentally. However,he never stop especially after he met the girl. He tried to find a job to make her happy, to give her a house although he was luckless in terms of staying in the same job long time. After all, he shows us hope is important and being happy with little things and his final cue is "smile, do not lose your hope, we will succeed":). On the other side, in mercedes factory cars are produced successively. After they are controlled, tested and tried many times, they were sent to different cities and countires via highway or sea road.
All in all, factories were established years ago and industry is going on to improve day by day. This improvement can be clearly showed in both movies. Also, there was unemployment in modern times so there were protests and strikes. Everybody should watch how a car produced because it is really interesting and attractive from design stage to first driving stage.

< Background of ASTI

Bus stations are place which people can feel every feelings such as happiness, sadness, curiosity, sympathy or fear because people say goodbye to each other there, they meet each other there after long travels, they wonder when the bus arrive or leave and they see poor people who live in there. These feelings go on like that. Especially, large cities’ bus stations as ASTI we can observe that. ASTI is the name of the Ankara’s bus station and it is one of the biggest terminals in Turkey. Almost everybody who lives in Ankara has been in ASTI at least one time. Some of them have gone there to say goodbye their friends or families. Some of them have gone there to go to other cities in Turkey. Otherwise, a few of them have gone there to look and see what is going on there, what are people doing in there and how do they working and living there. One of the people, among them, is me. I have gone ASTI many times to go my hometown. However, this time was different. I went there to talk staffs, passengers, tradesmen, to look around different aspect and to take photos.
Arriving ASTI is not so difficult. You can use Ankaray, EGO, shared taxi, taxi or your own car. I preferred shared taxi this time because I had no luggage which I had to carry. First of all, my short ASTI trip started at entry of Ankaray. Passengers were walking on moving way there to ease their luggage. Almost all of them were in hurry. I think, even though, they could catch their buses easily, they were in hurry because of the atmosphere of this place. They were like competitor. After passing there, I went to information to get permission for taking photos. Since taking photo is forbidden in ASTI without permission. However, permission is not enough so a security officer accompanied me while wandering. I noticed there are many peddlers in ASTI. They are selling books, foods, drinks etc. Besides there are canteens, restaurants, cafes, shops which sell jewellery, toys or dress in there. Their prices are almost twice as much as normal because of the rent. I talked some of their owners. They have been there approximately for ten years. When I asked them what has been changed for ten years they answered “nothing has changed, maybe passengers’ appearance only.” and they complained “ There is still too much noise.” Honestly, I can not imagine how they endure the noise. It is so disturbing. When I was there, It was hailing so its sound joined the usual noise. Unfortunately, that was terrible. Also, there are shoeblacks there. One of them brought his child with him. While the boy was reading his book he was doing his job. Then I saw a painter in ASTI. After being surprised I talked the painter who is drawing portrait. He is too old but he has to do this job to earn money. He said he had to leave nursing home because of the quota. After all, you can find every kind of people in ASTI even mentally deranged people. They are living in there because they could not find other place to take shelter. According to the security officer, passengers do not complain these people. Maybe, they could not notice them. Several months ago I saw a woman who was sleeping under the couches and I thought she was waiting her bus. However, it was not like what it seems. She always lives there and sleeping under the couch is normal for her. Furthermore, passengers are reading books, listening to music, thinking, talking to each other or just sitting while they are waiting their bus’ departure time. When I was one of them, I am looking at people around and thinking to write about them. Especially man who are yelling Istanbul, Istanbul or Aksaray, Aksaray! They do not care where the passengers will go, they are only trying to take their luggage and taking away them their firm. That is so weird for many of us.
In brief, ASTI is the one of the most crowded, noisy, and interesting place in Ankara according to me. Also this place is not hygienic for their employees. I know that since an employee complained to me. He said I did not feel safe in terms of health here because everything was open there. Although I hate ASTI because of my terrible experiences, I had a lot fun while observing there. For instance, Some people were caring you, some were not or some turned back while taking photos, some waved and said “take my photo”. I could see several acts of people and several types of people. They were useful experiences and have a nice trip dear passengers!
